Less corporate. More culture. Always mindful of privacy. This notice explains how VibeReelz collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use our short-form video discovery and creator platform. It should be read with our Terms, Community Guidelines, and Content Policy.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to people who visit the VibeReelz website, create an account, browse reels, upload content, interact with creators, use text or voice prompts, save Vibes, or contact support. Where applicable privacy law uses terms such as controller or business, LifeNest Labs Inc. is the operator responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information generated when you use the service, and technical information needed to operate it. The categories relevant to VibeReelz include:
- Account information: email address, username, display name, sign-in credentials managed by our authentication provider, account identifiers, settings, age or age-eligibility information, and related security events. We do not ask you to send your password to our support team.
- Profile and creator information: profile image, biography, links or other profile details you choose to provide, uploaded short-form videos, captions, covers, hashtags, topics, and associated metadata.
- Posts and interactions: comments, replies, likes, follows, saves, blocks, reports, moderation appeals, and other activity associated with your account.
- Vibes and personalization: text prompts, transcripts of voice prompts where a voice feature is used, saved Vibe names and settings, search and discovery actions, and signals used to rank or match existing video content. A prompt may reveal personal interests or preferences, so avoid entering confidential or sensitive information.
- Device and usage information: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, approximate location inferred from network data, timestamps, diagnostic logs, security signals, and performance or crash data, to the extent these are captured by the app or its service providers.
- Support and safety information: messages you send to us, content reports, account-recovery correspondence, verification information needed to handle requests, and records reasonably necessary to investigate abuse or enforce rules.
- Purchase information, if paid features become available: product or subscription entitlement, app-store platform, transaction reference and status. Purchases processed by Apple or Google are handled by those providers; we do not need your full payment-card number to provide a subscription entitlement.
Access to your device camera, microphone, or photo library is controlled through platform permission prompts where those capabilities are used. We do not require you to record or upload a video merely to browse available content.
3. How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts; display uploaded reels and profiles according to selected visibility; power discovery of existing videos; save and retrieve Vibes; enable social interactions; communicate transactional and support messages; detect spam, fraud, harmful or illegal content; review reports and appeals; maintain performance; provide account deletion and privacy rights; and comply with applicable law.
Important distinction: VibeReelz uses prompts and matching technology to help you find and organize existing videos. The prompt-based experience does not create a brand-new video from your text prompt. Automated matching and moderation may use software-based models, but they do not replace our responsibilities to review appropriate safety concerns.
Where law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely as applicable on performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in a safe and functional service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for optional activities where consent is required. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing, subject to legal limitations.
4. Who can see what you share
Your profile, comments, and public uploads may be visible to other users and may be shared beyond the app. Public Vibes can be discovered by others. Unlisted Vibes may be accessed by anyone with a valid link. Private Vibes are intended for your own access, subject to platform features and necessary authorized processing. Do not assume that a screenshot, download, or resharing by someone who already saw your content can always be reversed.
Do not upload another person's private details or content unless you have the rights and lawful permission to do so. We may restrict or remove content to comply with the Content Policy.
5. When information is disclosed
We may disclose information to:
- Other users and the public, based on the feature and visibility choices you select.
- Infrastructure and operational providers that host data, authenticate users, send transactional email, process media, support moderation, or help us diagnose errors. These providers receive only the information reasonably needed to deliver their relevant services, subject to applicable protections.
- App-store payment providers, when a user makes an in-app purchase or subscription transaction, if and when those features launch.
- Authorities or parties involved in legal processes, when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or establish legal rights.
- Successors to the business, if a merger, acquisition, or restructuring occurs, subject to applicable privacy law.
This policy is not permission to sell your personal information. If we introduce a practice involving sale or targeted-advertising disclosures regulated by law, we will provide the legally required notice and choices before doing so.
6. Storage, security, and international transfers
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and risks involved, including account access controls and protected service communications. No internet service can promise absolute security. VibeReelz is not designed to collect highly sensitive financial or identity documents from users; please do not put secrets into prompts, captions, profiles, comments, uploads, or support messages.
Your information may be stored or processed by providers in the United States or other countries. Where law requires safeguards for international transfers, we will use an appropriate legal mechanism. Additional sign-in protections, including multifactor authentication if offered, are optional for ordinary users; moderation and staff access are subject to separate access controls.
7. Data retention and deletion
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate accounts and community features, resolve disputes, enforce platform rules, meet security needs, and comply with legal obligations. Different types of records have different lifecycles. Deleting a post removes it from the platform as implemented, but copies held by others or limited backup, audit, and legal-retention records may persist for a period consistent with applicable law.
You can request deletion of your account through the app's implemented account-deletion function or by following the externally accessible instructions at Delete Your Account. We may verify your identity to protect against fraudulent requests. We will delete or de-identify eligible personal information associated with the account and explain any categories we must retain for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.
8. Your controls and privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, object to, or otherwise control certain processing of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You may also have the right to complain to a relevant privacy regulator. We will not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
You may adjust available profile and Vibe visibility settings, manage notifications using device or app settings, block accounts, and report content. For privacy requests, email support@vibereelz.com and use Privacy Request in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing account data.
9. Age eligibility and teen safety
VibeReelz is for people 16 years old or older. We do not knowingly allow an account for anyone under 16. If you are 16 or 17, you must also meet any applicable local rules about parental or guardian involvement. Where we cannot meet those requirements, the service may not be available to you. We may remove accounts that do not meet the minimum age. Parents or guardians who believe someone under 16 has created an account can contact support.
We apply content and safety restrictions to reduce minors' exposure to sexually explicit, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate material. Reports involving child exploitation or imminent threats are escalated appropriately.
10. Website cookies and third-party services
Our website or service providers may use essential cookies or similar storage for sessions, fraud prevention, preferences, and performance. Any nonessential analytics or advertising technologies must be separately disclosed and offered with the choices required by applicable law before deployment. Third-party sites you visit from VibeReelz have their own privacy practices.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as features or laws change. We will publish the updated notice with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or consent where required for material changes. Continuing to use the service after an update is subject to your legal rights and the applicable terms.
