Bad vibes don't get a free pass. VibeReelz is for real creators and real community. This page explains how to flag content, what happens next, and how to ask for a second review when we get a decision wrong. It supplements our Community Guidelines and Content Policy.
1. What you can report
You may report a reel, caption, comment, account, or other activity that appears to violate our rules. Examples include threats and harassment, hate-based abuse, impersonation, scams, invasions of privacy, stolen content, nonconsensual intimate imagery, and behavior that places young people at risk. VibeReelz is for people 16 and older; an account suspected of belonging to a person younger than 16 may also be reported.
If the concern involves your creative work, see our separate Creator Rights & Copyright page.
2. How to send a report
In the app: Use the Report action on the relevant post, comment, or profile where available. Select the closest reason and provide context. You may also use Block to restrict unwanted interactions; blocking and reporting serve different purposes.
By email: Send a message to support@vibereelz.com with the subject Safety Report, including:
- A link, username, post identifier, or enough detail to locate the material.
- A short, factual explanation of what happened and when.
- Whether someone faces an immediate safety risk, especially a minor.
- Any other context you are legally permitted to share, without exposing another person's unnecessary private information.
Do not email suspected child sexual abuse imagery, nonconsensual intimate images, passwords, identity documents, or other harmful or sensitive attachments. Report the location and circumstances instead.
3. How we assess reports
Reports may be reviewed using automated signals, available account and content context, and human judgment. Depending on severity, evidence, repeat behavior, and applicable law, the response may include taking no enforcement action, limiting distribution, removing content, restricting features, or suspending or terminating an account. For serious threats, exploitation, or other emergencies, we may preserve relevant information and escalate or report as legally required or permitted.
Submitting a report does not guarantee removal. We may be unable to disclose another person's account information, the evidence reviewed, or a detailed investigative outcome due to privacy, safety, or legal constraints. We do not promise a fixed response time; urgent threats and risks to young people receive priority where reasonably possible.
4. Appeal a decision
If your own content or account was restricted and you think the decision was incorrect, email support@vibereelz.com with the subject Moderation Appeal. Include your account username, the affected content or notice, any case/reference ID available, and a concise explanation of the error or missing context. Do not create new accounts to get around a restriction while an appeal is pending.
We may request enough information to authenticate the account or understand the disputed decision. We will reassess the available record, consider additional relevant context, and either uphold, modify, or reverse the action where warranted. Appeal submission does not guarantee a reversal. Some decisions may not be reversible if material must remain unavailable by law or for immediate safety.
If you reported another person and believe important evidence was overlooked, you can submit a follow-up Safety Report identifying the earlier report and any genuinely new information. This is not permission to harass the reported person or repeatedly send duplicative reports.
5. Emergency and child-safety issues
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For suspected child sexual exploitation, report it through the in-app safety flow or by email without attaching exploitative material. Do not download, store, forward, or recirculate such imagery. We may take urgent protective measures and make referrals to appropriate authorities or child-safety organizations as the law requires or permits.
6. Privacy and report misuse
We handle reports and appeal information as described in our Privacy Policy. We limit access to the personnel and service providers who need it for safety, legal, and operational purposes. Knowingly fabricated reports, retaliation, doxxing, and attempts to weaponize reporting are prohibited.
